We derived the term ‘Curion’ from the word Curiosity. The idea behind the venture is to promote practical learning.
Curion is a social enterprise working towards enhancing the education sector in India. The founders started working towards this dream in 2006, Curion Education Pvt. Ltd. was formed on 8th May 2010 in Mumbai. Our immediate focus is on developing cost effective and quality educational products and services that can reach out to the masses. In the very first year we had managed to reach out to more than 15,000 students in India and the number has been growing ever since.

Methodology
At Curion, we intend to develop techniques that maximize learning. After spending years into learning, teaching and training we have observed that learning is only maximized during the process of failing and then succeeding. And failing which as per us should not be looked down upon; is maximized during experimentation.
It is therefore that we take the experiment-based or experience based approach towards learning.
We specifically design programs and courses that enable students to explore various concepts in a practical manner. It is during this process that students create various experiments, put theories to the test of real life parameters, build various machines and mechanisms, re-discover, re-invent and hence truly learn!
Our methodology can be thus simplified in three steps

Sandeep completed his mechanical engineering and joined a venture by IITians in the field of education. There after he has completely dedicated his life towards providing effective quality education to students all over India. With years of experience in training thousands of students and teachers this Mechanical engineer has transformed himself into a new age educator promoting practical learning transforming children from data banks to think tanks!
He firmly believes that learning can not be measured by numbers on the mark-sheet, it can only be gauged by the thought process one develops and thereby one’s actions. Sandeep believes that education should enable the entire generation to think and take intellectual steps towards transforming the world into a better place. He believes effective education is the only solution to greater problems like poverty, population, terrorism and war. A firm believer of the power of thought, with strong vision, he forms Curion’s hub of Ideas!

Vishal, a mechanical engineer cum a professional 3D Animator is the perfect blend of technical expertise and creative talent.
Throughout his education, he felt the need to extend learning beyond the textbooks. Post his engineering he started developing innovative teaching tools and methods while pursuing his diploma in 3D animation. As he understands a child’s psychology towards learning he has developed the educational content based on the concept of info-graphics, i.e. Blending information with graphics.
His methods have been greatly appreciated by educators and students alike.
